North Georgia Campout Adventure
The difference between car camping & backpacking according to Sarah’s husband:
self respect
Enjoy North Georgia beauty without planning anything!
Delicious meals, snacks & wine with new friends
Laugh around the campfire and at the communal dinner table
Relax on the clear waters of the Chattahoochee river while tubing through the disappointingly unhistoric, but adorable town of Helen GA
Trip Highlights
The perfect trip for anyone interested in outdoor adventures (but also interested in hot showers!)
The Trip
The trip will begin at 10AM Saturday June 13th at a secluded campground just outside Helen, GA with a hot shower house and bathrooms but still forested privacy.

Then caravan (less than 10 minutes) for a river tubing adventure through the town of Helen, GA.
Dinner and campfire that evening with storytelling and laughter guaranteed.
Coffee will be served along with breakfast Sunday morning at 8AM.
Campout concludes at 10AM Sunday morning with checkout at noon when you can go get a Bavarian Pretzel and beer in Helen to round out your North Georgia weekend!

Activity Level for This Trip
Rated Level 1
This is a leisurely adventure with minimal hiking/walking. Bathrooms are roughly a 3 minute walk from campgrounds but port-o-potties are within 1 minute. Setting up your campsite will be something each participant does but we will work together to support one another through every aspect. Tubing is mostly through calm waters (depending on river levels) with a few more shallow areas (rapids) where you may get “stuck” and have to get “unstuck” but overall it should require minimal effort.
Please consider the physical demands carefully as it is for the safety and enjoyment of the group. All guests will be required to sign an Acknowledgement of Physical Demands as part of their waiver upon booking.
If you have ANY concerns regarding the activity level, please reach out here.
