Do you ever feel nervous hitting the trails alone? When a friend backs out of a hike, do you cancel your plans? Learn some safety tips and tricks from two professional backpacking guides who have solo hiked and backpacked all over the US and enjoy making new friends and laughing with these wilderness survival instructors!

In an effort to make the outdoors more accessible, we are offering this class (normally $45) as a ‘Pay What You Can’ experience.

Pay What You Can Amount:

Time: 9AM - 1PM

Location: Powers Island 5450 Interstate N Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

Difficulty:

We will be seated at picnic tables for the first hour or more for the discussion/instruction portion of this class.

This is a mild hike with a few uphill stretches, loose rocks, roots and mud in places. Distance is less than 3 miles. We will move at an inclusive pace and take breaks often. If you are concerned about the difficulty or your abilities please reach out via email.
